Musical artist, Pennie Painter, was born January 3, 1997, in Fort Worth, Texas. She began her singing career at the age of 7, writing, recording, and producing in studio. Growing up in the studio, Pennie was mentored by several Grammy Award winning producers, studio owners, and industry artists, including but not limited to: Latin/American producers Play N’ Skillz, Bluu Suede, Victor Clark PKA Phazz, and Sherwin Charles PKA Iroc. At 7, Pennie began performing music across several states. Her audience has grown to include performances around the US and South America.
Her singing and songwriting talents far exceeded her age. Writing and performing, she has developed into an incredible vocalist and soulful songwriter.
Ella Fitzgerald, Amy Winehouse, Common, and Lily Allen are just some of the many artists that have influenced Pennie’s musical development and tastes, creating a sound that is uniquely evident by her incredible voice and writing talents.
Most recently, Pennie’s writing, recording, and vocal production collaborations include multi-platinum producer Troy “R8Dio” Johnson (J.Lo, Tupac), Gold Producer Rickey “Slikk” Offord (Ariana Grande); Matt Noveskey (Blue October); Madukwu Chinwah, A1 Bentley, Lyrica Anderson and the debut project for up and coming country music artist, Whitney Miller.
Pennie’s hundreds of live performances have included private performances for the Chief of the Yawana tribe of the Brazilian Amazon rainforest, Radio Disney, Six Flags, State Fairs, Malls, Festivals, National Cheerleading events and benefits for various charities, Easter Seals, MS, MD, United Way and American Heart Association.
As a teenager, Pennie received recognition from the United Nations Environmental Program, performing her original single “We are the Ones” in their Main Hall in New York.
